Alexandra is 22, comes from Romania, and is a master student of Communication Management and Analysis in Stuttgart, Germany. In her studies, she focuses mainly on the communication of sustainability and sensitive topics. She is very passionate about vintage fashion and creating communication that can make a change. Alexandra is part of the Future Fashion Movement for sustainable consumption and production in the fashion industry as a social media and community manager. She is in charge of creating educational and informative content and events to support young people in their journey towards more slow and fair fashion. Alexandra herself has a broad knowledge about the fashion world – both through her parents’ experience working in the textile industry and her ongoing voluntary formation as a Future Fashion Expert. Beyond her work with Future Fashion, Alexandra is a UNICEF Youth Leader focusing on the importance of the sustainable development goals and their implementation for a child-friendly world. She is also an advocate for women’s rights as a Step-up Campaign Youth Ambassador and is a member of the United Nations Major Group on Children and Youthas the lead of the #MorethanMigrants series – showcasing young migrants as changemakers and entrepreneurs in their communities.
