Andre brings his expertise in climate justice to co-lead FTA’s DEI Committee whose mandate includes DEI training for our executive director, reviewing policies, hiring practices and procedures, as well as reevaluating criteria for the suppliers, speakers and program facilitators we engage with, to ensure we are applying and working through a DEI lens throughout our organization.

Andre is the founder of Canadian Climate Challenge and Project Lead of The School for Climate.  Building on 10+ years of sustainable fashion experience, Andre’s current focus is on increasing accessibility to Climate Solutions and Environmental Justice Awareness and Mobilization.  Andre first met the FTA family after moving back from London, and desperately seeking sustainable fashion leaders in Toronto.  

Now through art, activism, technology, partnership, community organizing, membership in the National Anti Environmental Racism Coalition, and as steering committee member of Toronto Climate Action Network, Andre puts his energy anywhere he can to convey a sustainable, inclusive and just Canada.
