Lavisha is a student at Ivey Business School pursuing a master’s degree in international business. When she was younger, she attended university in Mumbai, India, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Since she was a child, Lavisha has been designing her own clothing. At a young age, she had her own social enterprise that recycled used soap bars with the help of underprivileged women in India to serve hyperlocal markets. She wants to use her research and influence to persuade the fashion industry to become more sustainable every day by building a closed-loop production system. In the future, she hopes to work at the intersection of fashion and business. Her other interests include dancing, cooking, and traveling.
