Shannon O’Hara

Facilitator, Peel & Halton Regions (French & English)

Shannon is a Canadian designer specializing in sustainable fashion through her work in reclaimed leather.

With her custom business, Agent Reclaim, she transforms beloved, outdated leather garments into stylish and functional handbags and accessories. She has also collaborated with a large leather brand to create capsule collections using their returned and damaged inventory with tremendous success at the retail level.

Shannon studied fashion design at LaSalle College in Montreal, Fine arts at Carleton University and Millinery at Richard Robertson in Ottawa. She is an active member of Fashion Takes Action and in January 2016 joined the team to be a classroom facilitator for My Clothes My World, covering Peel and Halton Regions as well as French Instruction.

Shannon is passionate about sustainable fashion and brings an environmentally sound approach to teaching the MCMW curriculum in the classroom.
She lives in Mississauga with her husband and two kids.
