WEAR 2017 is taking place November 13 & 14 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

The global apparel and textile industry is an important one – valued at more than three trillion dollars. With this comes a huge responsibility, both to the environment and to the millions of people who make our clothes. Our industry is best positioned to have a tremendous impact on climate change. By shifting toward more innovative and sustainable business models, we have the power to positively impact the environment and millions of people worldwide.

We realize that perfection does not exist. There are still many questions and not enough answers. And while there are challenges yet to overcome, risks to consider and perhaps even an overwhelming sense of where to begin, there is much hope. As with any major movement there are great leaders, but we are thrilled that more brands are embracing sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

Each year, WEAR provides a forum to share these examples of leadership with the entire North American apparel and textile industry. And it is the only sustainable business conference that caters entirely to this industry, so every speaker and session is specific to the work you are doing.

Learn from the experts, share ideas and build relationships with your peers. Gain insights that will contribute to your overall business profitability and sustainability. WEAR 2016 will leave you inspired and equipped to innovate and take your business to the next level.

This was our first year attending WEAR and we are so glad that we did! It was an extremely well organized and informative event. The speakers and panel members were excellent. We had the opportunity to network and meet other like-minded people and business in the industry. We walked away equipped with knowledge and hundreds of ideas that we’re now working on applying. We cannot wait for WEAR 2016 and highly recommend it to all who are in the ethical fashion industry!Unikati
