About the CCTC
The Canadian Circular Textiles Consortium (CCTC), led by Fashion Takes Action (FTA), is a collaborative initiative uniting over 120 stakeholders across Canada’s textile and apparel value chain, including brands, retailers, manufacturers, NGOs, municipalities, policymakers, and academic institutions.
Vision: An integrated, circular system that eliminates global textile waste and advances a regenerative economy.
Impact: The CCTC drives systems change by optimizing resource use across the textile value chain, addressing gaps, and scaling solutions to position Canada as a leader in circular innovation.
Overview:
Currently the CCTC leads and engages working groups members in several on-going projects that relate to citizen awareness, circular business models, circular design guidelines and policy incentives. Reporting to the Circularity Program Manager, FTA is seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Coordinator to join our CCTC team. This candidate will support various aspects of project management, from scheduling meetings to maintaining communication with partners and stakeholders, conducting research, ensuring smooth operations and effective project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Coordination:
Schedule all meetings: quarterly partner meetings, committee and project meetings, and virtual learning series
Ensure all meeting logistics are arranged and confirmed; share agendas and pre-read/minutes
Take detailed notes during meetings and provide clear recaps and action items to all team members.
Consolidate and maintain network contact information into a single, easily accessible file for reference
Provide hands-on support for CCTC-related events, ensuring smooth execution and attendee satisfaction.
Project Support:
Create visually engaging and consistent project and partner meeting decks to enhance presentations.
Monitor project timelines, send reminder and follow-up emails to project members to ensure timely completion of tasks and deadlines.
Assist in conducting literature reviews and research for various CCTC projects.
Create feedback surveys and gather input from stakeholders to inform project outcomes.
Identify relevant topics for future Learning Series events.
Promote and assist in facilitating Learning Series sessions.
Partner Engagement & Communication:
Update and maintain Partner Charts, ensuring contact information is accurate and up-to-date.
Monitor partner renewal timelines, support onboarding of new members
Send call-for-contribution emails to partners and track article submissions for the Wrapped article tracker.
Research news and events to be featured in Wrapped monthly newsletter.
Promote engagement within the CCTC partners-only LinkedIn group by sharing articles, events, and member updates.
Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Sustainability or related field
Minimum of 2-3 years of program or project coordination, preferably involving multi-stakeholder and cross-functional teams
Technical knowledge or understanding of circular textiles including end-of-use pathways, policy, product design is not required but is an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Google Workspace, Miro Board, Slack, Canva, and Zoom
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Experience in scheduling, event coordination, and project management.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
A proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude.

This is a fully remote, permanent full time role, (40 hours a week) that offers opportunities for growth and involvement in a variety of projects and initiatives. Salary range: $55,000 - $60,000 CAD This is a one year contract with possibility of renewal based on funding availability.
