Nicole leads the strategic direction of award winning environmental not-for-profit Canopy, and is committed to ensuring that the power of the global marketplace leverages tangible eco-solutions, a green economy and substantial conservation gains for the world’s Ancient and Endangered Forests. Nicole and her team have worked to transform unsustainable global supply chains, develop innovative solutions, and green the purchasing practices of more than 750 large companies including H&M, Zara/Inditex and Penguin Random House. Nicole is an Ashoka Fellow, a member of the UBS Global Visionaries Program, Meritorious Service Cross of Canada recipient, and Canadian Environment Award Gold Medal winner.
