CLOSED – Program Lead: Youth Education (Part-Time Contract)

** THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION. CANDIDATES MUST BE BASED IN CANADA.

We are currently seeking a Program Lead for our My Clothes My World youth education program.

My Clothes My World is one of the only (if not the only) formal youth education programs that is curriculum aligned, to teach students (aged 8-17) on the social & environmental impacts of textiles and apparel. Created in 2014, our program has the ability to empower young people with immediate actions they can take to be a climate leader.

Fashion intersects with many other industries – from farming, agriculture and forestry to manufacturing, chemicals and plastics. We believe that fashion has the ability to introduce young people to bigger broader climate issues and actions, as it is a fun and relatable topic for them.

After all, children don’t make decisions around home energy efficiency or which car the family drives, but they wake up every day and get dressed.
