Tyler Franch is Vice President, Fashion Director of Hudson’s Bay. Franch oversees fashion direction for women’s and men’s apparel, footwear and handbags across Hudson’s Bay as well as for The Room, the retailer’s designer destination. 

Prior to joining Hudson’s Bay, Franch worked as an editor and fashion director for some of Canada’s most prestigious titles includes The Globe & Mail, Chatelaine and Flare. His work as a stylist and creative lead has reached beyond Canada’s borders to be featured in countless international brands and publications. 

In addition to his role at Hudson’s Bay, Franch is a member of the nominating committee for the Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards, The International Woolmark Prize and acts as a mentor to student in various Fashion programs across the country, offering critic and guidance on student’s final thesis collections. Most recently Franch has played an integral role in Hudson Bay’s mission to advance racial equity in Canada by leading the merchant pillar of the brand’s DEI executive council.
