What did you buy on Black Friday? Was there a cute top or an irresistible sweater on sale at a price you just couldn’t refuse? Like we shared in our last blog post, we know you can’t stop consuming completely – we just hope that you shop responsibly and wear what you do buy for years to come.
But this Giving Tuesday, we’re also hoping you will consider matching what you spent on a discounted Black Friday item and donate that amount to Fashion Takes Action!
FTA has launched a campaign to fund a new e-learning platform that will enable us to reach 100,000 students and teach them about how to be responsible consumers; how to care for clothes so that they last; how to reuse and repurpose garments; and eventually, how to properly recycle those items when they can no longer be used.
