ReMode is where you come to learn how to keep your clothes in use for as long as possible through the 7R’s of Fashion.

The Marketplace shines the light on the #nonewclothes movement, with vendors focused on reuse, resale, repurposing, rental and repair.

The Swap is where you come to trade your unwanted clothes with others (begins at 12PM).

The Talks feature industry experts and influencers throughout the day to help you learn more about how to reduce your fashion footprint through what you buy and how you care for your clothes.

Vendor Marketplace

In 2024, we hosted 20+ vendors in the ReMode: Marketplace, featuring an array of businesses focused on reuse, resale, repurposing, rental and repair. In addition to our vendors, we’re excited to have had two agencies – Scadding Court and Progress Place – that offered community sewing and repair programs with support from the City of Toronto’s Community Reduce and Reuse Program, on site at ReMode offering repairs to attendees including hemming, sewing buttons, and mending seams.

Clothing Swap

The most sustainable piece of clothing is the one already in your closet…or in someone else’s. We wear 20% of the clothes we own, 80% of the time. So if there are items that you know you won’t wear, or that don’t fit anymore, a clothing swap is the perfect way to share them with someone else, and find new pieces for yourself.

This year, our swap resulted in 1,296 items of clothing diverted from landfill – 949 items swapped and 320 items donated – which equals 648 kg of diverted textiles. That’s 2,074 kg of co2 saved.
