In an effort to demonstrate anti-racism, we at FTA have chosen to take various actions. One of these is to support and promote black-owned sustainable fashion businesses. For too long, the BIPOC community has been barely visible in this space, and now more than ever this. has. to. change. We have spent a great deal of time these past weeks thinking, listening, and learning. How can we do better? How can we encourage our community to do better? As a non-profit organization, there is only so much we can do. But using our blog and social media channels to amplify the voices and the work of black creators and sustainable fashion designers, is the least action we can take right now. We will continue to listen and to learn, and we encourage you to join us on social media because we would love to hear from you!
