Sarah Jay is a stylist, sustainability consultant and filmmaker known for supporting sustainable advancements within the fashion and beauty industries. For twenty years she has worked in all areas of fashion media. Her styling work as been published in Harper’s Bazaar, VOGUE, FASHION Magazine, ELLE Canada, InStyle. Her sustainability and advocacy work has been featured in VOGUE, The Coveteur, Harper’s Bazaar, Dazed & Confused, The Globe and Mail, I-D, The Kit, Best Health, Flare, She Does the City, Medium, WWD, ELLE and ELLE UK. She is the former Creative Director of Canada’s only sustainability-focused fashion NGO, Fashion Takes Action, and her first feature-length documentary, TOXIC BEAUTY, was nominated for an International Emmy in 2021. She has helped to grow the sustainable fashion movement internationally through her work on The Green Shows (NY) and the Regenerative Earth Summit (CO). Sarah’s unwavering commitment to sustainability has earned her two consecutive nominations for the Canadian Art and Fashion Awards’ Fashion Impact Award in 2019 and 2020, and Fashion Group International’s Visionary Award in 2020. Sarah is an avid thrifter and up-cycler.
