I am a Fashion Business student at Humber College with a passion for ethics, sustainability, and circularity in the textile and apparel industry. I have a background in International Business from Vanier College, which has provided me with a solid foundation in global marketing and trade, cultural awareness, and research. Additionally, I had the opportunity to work as a student researcher where my responsibilities included curating content for a website catering to the needs of Muslim students in higher education, addressing the topic of Islamophobia in Quebec. Growing up in the diverse city of Montreal, one of Canada’s largest fashion hubs, has given me a deep understanding of its distinctive and innovative “Euro-American” street style, as well as an appreciation for local fashion talent, designers, trendy streetwear stores, and vintage shops. As an FTA Youth Ambassador, I am committed to bringing fresh perspectives, expanding my skill set, engaging with the community, and fostering the growth of ethically and environmentally conscious consumers and brands.
