My Clothes My World

Our youth education program that has reached over 30,000 students in grades 4-12 & teaches them about the social & environmental impacts of the global fashion industry, and empowers them to build a more resilient and sustainable future.

Over the course of the pandemic, we fully digitized our in-person and live virtual workshops so that teachers can now deliver them in their own time. We have 6 workshops in total, with slightly modified versions between the grades 4-8 and High School level. Of these, 5 are for individual classrooms and one is a school wide “challenge”. We are also in the process of turning the workshops into Unit and Lesson plans, offering more options for teachers. In 2023 we resumed our in classroom workshops, but currently only in the Toronto District School Board. We plan to roll this out across Canada over the next 2 years. You can access our current offerings here.

In 2019 we held our first Fashion Impacts Youth Leadership Summit at Toronto City Hall, for the students who scored the most points through various circular activities. We resumed this in 2022, however virtually, for students from across Canada who participated in our Fashion Impacts Challenge.
