First held in person with 110 attendees, WEAR more than doubled in size by its 6th year, welcoming 280+ attendees in 2019. In 2022 we held 2 WEAR events, one in the spring (virtual) and one in the fall (hybrid) and then held our last WEAR conference in 2023.
In hosting WEAR, we brought hundreds of expert speakers to Toronto to cover topics ranging from ethical sourcing and fair labour, to overproduction and circular fashion; from water pollution and material innovation to carbon emissions and packaging. WEAR is the only conference in Canada that covered these important topics.
